A teenage crew raided a Harlem 99-cent store and attacked attacked two workers who tried to stop them from shoplifting, cops said Wednesday.
The seven teens — four boys and three girls — entered the Jackpot 99 Cent and Up on E. 116th St. near Park Ave. just before 11 a.m. Sunday and started pocketing items from the shelves.
Two workers, a 45-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man, tried to stop them from leaving, the teens attacked the two employees, cops said.
The suspects ultimately fled the store with an undisclosed amount of property.
The woman employee suffered a head injury and a cut to her mouth during the attack. Her co-worker suffered a cut above his left eye.
Both were taken to Harlem Hospital, where they were treated and released.
Cops on Wednesday released surveillance images of the seven teens in the hope someone recognizes them. Most of the teens wore black jackets and dark-colored hoodies. One of the teenage girls had long braided blonde hair.
