A 26-year-old man was fatally shot on a Brooklyn street early Monday, police said.
The victim was shot in the chest in front of a warehouse on Dinsmore Place near Chestnut St. in Cypress Hills about 2:15 a.m., cops said. The bleeding victim ran around the corner and collapsed on Richmond St.
Medics rushed him to Jamaica Hospital but he could not be saved.
The victim’s name was not immediately released but cops said he had two arrests on his record, one for weapon possession and the other for grand larceny. It wasn’t yet clear why he was shot.
There were no immediate arrests.
