A Queens man was shot dead just steps from his home early Sunday, cops said.
Emanuel Pippis, 44, was shot in the head outside Paraguayan Steakhouse on 65th Place near 53rd Drive in Maspeth about 3:50 a.m., cops said. He died at the scene.
Pippis was just down the block from his home when he was slain.
Police have made no arrests as they look for witnesses and surveillance video.
Pippis’ murder is the second homicide this year in the normally sleepy 104th Precinct, which saw no homicides at all between from 2020 through 2022.
On Jan. 11, police found Alexa Ruiz, 23, shot in the back of the head in the bedroom of her 56th Drive home, less than a mile from Pippis’ block. Her murder remains unsolved.
