A 17-year-old boy was knifed to death during a clash with a teen inside a Brooklyn apartment building that may have been spurred on by the victim’s girlfriend, police sources said Wednesday.
The suspected killer of Alex Colodner was taken into custody and questioned but released after he claimed he acted in self-defense, police sources and relatives of the victim said.
Colodner was stabbed multiple times at an apartment building on Quincy St. near Throop Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant just before 4 p.m. Tuesday, cops said.
Medics rushed him to Kings County Hospital but he couldn’t be saved. He had no criminal history or gang affiliations, police sources said.
Colodner was about a mile from home when he was stabbed.
A knife was recovered from the scene as cops continue to investigate the slaying.
