Police are searching for a man who’s been on a rampage carving swastikas into Queens sidewalks, police said Thursday.
The bigot has struck six separate times over the past week in Forest Hills and Rego Park.
In the first incident, the brazen vandal approached the NYPD’s 112th precinct stationhouse on Austin St. near Yellowstone Blvd. in Forest Hills on Saturday and etched two swastikas into the sidewalk around 3 p.m., cops said.
He waited until Monday to do the same in the cement outside Stephen A. Halsey Junior High School 157, located at 102nd St., near 63rd Drive, around 9:20 p.m. Monday in the same neighborhood.
Less than an hour later, he carved another one of the hateful Nazi symbols outside a residential building on Queens Blvd. near 72nd Dr. around 10:05 p.m., police said.
He struck three more times on Tuesday and Wednesday, including outside the Reform Temple of Forest Hills on 112th St. near 71st Road.
The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident.
Police are still looking for the man responsible and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
