A person was seriously wounded Saturday morning in a police-involved shooting on the West Side, officials said.
The shooting happened in the 3800 block of West Flournoy Street shortly after 10:15 a.m. Fire officials said one person was taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, but had no information immediately available on the persons age on gender.
Chicago police also did not have immediate information available on the shooting.
The Civilian Office of Police Accountability posted information on Twitter asking anyone with information on the shooting to contact their office at 312-746-3609.
