Meghan Trainor is a mommy again.
The singer-songwriter behind the monster hit “All About That Bass” gave birth to a bouncing baby boy over the weekend. On Tuesday, she announced that she and her husband, Daryl Sabara, have welcomed their second child — a son named Barry Bruce.
“On July 1st (our 7-year anniversary of our first date) we welcomed Barry Bruce Trainor into the world,” the Grammy Award winner shared on Instagram.
“He was a big boy at 8lbs 7oz…and sideways (transverse), but we had an amazing, successful C-section, and I finally got my skin-to-skin time! Thank you to all of the incredible doctors and nurses who took such great care of us,” she added.
Her latest timeline entry included a slideshow of photos of the newborn, as well as a candid shot of the new mom laid up in a hospital bed throwing up a peace sign.
In January, the 29-year-old Massachusetts native broke the news that the family was welcoming a new addition, with sonogram photos and the caption “BABY #2COMING THIS SUMMER.”
Baby Barry Bruce has an older brother, Riley, who was born in February 2021.
Trainor and Sabara, the 31-year-old actor best known for his roles in “Spy Kids” and “Wizards of Waverly Place,” were married in 2018.
