“Saturday Night Live” alum Pete Davidson reportedly hopped a curb, hit a fire hydrant, and crashed into a house in Beverly Hills this weekend shortly after making a Kids’ Choice Awards appearance.
Davidson was driving his rumored girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders through the Beverly Hills’ Flats neighborhood at a “high rate of speed” on Saturday night when he lost control of his Mercedes and struck the hydrant and house, TMZ reported. Photos and videos of the incident show minor damage to the house, substantial damage to Davidson’s Mercedes, and a geyser of water shooting up from the ruptured hydrant. In one clip, a man in a blue jacket — whom the outlet identified as Davidson — talks with cops at the scene.
Reportedly no one was hurt in the incident, and drugs and alcohol aren’t thought to have been factors. The site notes that Davidson and Wonders haven’t been cited, though an investigation is in progress.
The duo was photographed earlier in the day on a beach in Hawaii. Still, they made it back to the West Coast in time for Davidson to appear at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater on Saturday night.
Davidson and Wonders, who starred in the HBO Max drama “Generation,” appeared together in last year’s horror-comedy film “Bodies Bodies Bodies” and sparked relationship rumors with their public appearances in December and January.
“Pete and Chase had insane chemistry on set,” a source told Us Weekly in January. “As well as when the cameras weren’t rolling.”
Since leaving “Saturday Night Live” last year, Davidson appeared in the TV shows “The Rookie” and “Who Killed Santa? A Murderville Murder Mystery” and the films “Good Mourning” and “Meet Cute.” He also started filming “Bupkis,” a Peacock comedy based on his life.
Wonders, meanwhile, also appeared in the films “Wake” and “Out of the Blue” last year, and her IMDb filmography shows she’ll have a role in “Bupkis,” too.
