Haunting video has emerged of the golf cart-like vehicle that bride Sam Hutchinson and her new husband rode as they left their wedding reception — showing it smashed up and mangled after they were rear-ended by an alleged drunk driver.
Hutchinson, 34, and her new husband Aric Hutchinson were riding in the rear seat, facing backward, when they were smashed into by a car driving at 65 mph.
Video posted by WCIV shows the back of the vehicle in an impound lot with a damaged axle and bent wheels.
The seat on which the newlyweds sat is lopsided.

Pieces of the bride’s wedding gown were stuck in the bumper of the rental car, the outlet noted.
It was initially reported that the vehicle was a golf cart, however, Folly Beach Public Safety Department Chief Andrew Gilreath confirmed it was what is called a low-speed vehicle, or LSV.
Will Harton, the CEO of Elto Lesire Cars, said that, unlike golf carts, LSVs are equipped with an array of enhanced safety features, including headlights, brake lights, turn signals, seat belts, an advanced braking system, and reflectors.

“Golf carts can be operated within four miles of your home during daylight hours, not on main surface streets, more neighborhood riding,” he told the outlet, adding that LSVs can’t be driven above 35 mph.
Hutchinson was declared dead at the scene, while her badly injured husband and two others were hospitalized.
The driver of the car which hit them, Jamie Lee Komoroski, 25, was arrested and charged with DUI involving death and reckless homicide.
