Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly might not make it down the aisle after all. According to a new report, the couple isn’t on speaking terms after a fight this weekend, and Fox isn’t wearing her engagement ring.
A source told People that Fox, 36, and Kelly, 32, “haven’t officially called off the engagement but Megan took her ring off” following a disagreement over the weekend — and that Fox is “very upset” and won’t speak to her musician beau.
“They have had issues in the past, but things seem pretty serious this time,” the source added.
On Sunday, Fox sparked breakup speculation when she deleted all photos of herself and Kelly from her Instagram account and posted a song lyric from Beyoncé’s infidelity-themed album “Lemonade”: “You can taste the dishonesty/it’s all over your breath,” she wrote, captioning an Instagram slideshow that included a video of an envelope burning.
The actress later deactivated her account.
Fox, who was previously married to Brian Austin Green, started dating Kelly after meeting him on the set of the 2021 crime film “Midnight in the Switchgrass.”
“I knew, I could feel that some wild s— was going to happen to me from that meeting, but I wasn’t yet sure what,” Fox said in a podcast interview that year. “I just felt it, like, deep in my soul.”
The couple went Instagram official in July 2020 and got engaged in January 2022.
Kelly later told Vogue that Fox’s diamond-and-emerald engagement ring would be physically painful to take off. “The concept is that the ring can come apart to make two rings,” he said. “When it’s together, it’s held in place by a magnet. So you see how it snaps together? And then it forms an obscure heart. And you see this right here? The bands are actually thorns. So if she tries to take it off, it hurts.”
