Two men face gun possession charges after a home and four vehicles on Birch Street were riddled with gunshot damage early Sunday morning.
No one was injured in the shooting, which happened sometime after 3:30 a.m., according to police.
Nakia Lane, 48, of Ward Street and Joshua Arce, 34, of Elliott Street were arrested around 9 a.m. Sunday after an officer pulled over the men in a vehicle that was connected to the shooting.
Police say the officer had followed the vehicle after seeing the two men enter the vehicle in the Maywood and Birch streets area.
The officer found a loaded handgun in the vehicle, for which neither Lane nor Arce allegedly have a license to carry.
Both men face illegal gun possession charges and are due to appear in court for arraignment.
The gunshot damage to the four vehicles and the home on Birch Street remains under investigation, according to police.
