Police in North Carolina are investigating the death of a New Hampshire man found unconscious in a home there early Saturday, officials said.
Officers with the Fayetteville Police Department were dispatched to a residence on the 1900 block of Tryon Drive at 4:28 a.m. Saturday in response to a report of an unconscious man found in a home, police said in a news release.
Emergency personnel performed “life-saving measures” and transported the man to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, officials said.
The victim has been identified as Ethan P. Vezina, 25, of New Hampshire, police said. Vezina’s family has been notified, officials said.
Vezina’s death, which Fayetteville police said “does not appear to be a random act,” is under investigation by the department’s homicide unit, officials said.
