A group of teens on Citi Bikes are being sought for assaulting at least two women in Central Park, police said Thursday.
The back-to-back attacks occurred on the East Drive of the iconic park Wednesday morning.
Police said that the three teens surrounded and shoved a 32-year-old jogger to the ground near E. 75th St., knocking her onto her knees about 8:50 a.m.
The woman suffered scrapes to both knees from the fall but wasn’t seriously hurt.
About 10 minutes later, a 47-year-old woman was walking in the park on East Drive when the three teens rolled past her near E. 71st St. One of the teens struck her in the back of the head as he passed.
The woman went to a nearby NYPD precinct stationhouse, where she was treated for a minor injury but didn’t want to go to the hospital.
The attacks were first reported on the West Side Rag news website. While the website noted three victims, police said that so far only two have come forward.
The assailants are described as between 15 and 16.
No arrests were made as cops search for surveillance footage outside the park to see where the teens entered and exited, police sources said.
