A 37-year-old man was shot to death on a a Brooklyn street, police said Tuesday.
The victim was hot once in the chest and once in the shoulder down the block from where lived on E. 91st St. near Winthrop St. in East Flatbush about 6 p.m. Monday, cops said.
Medics rushed him to Kings County Hospital but he could not be saved.
A ShotSpotter alert indicated two bullets had been fired, police said, with the killer, a man in a black hoodie and black mask, getting away in a gray Nissan.
The number of people shot in the city so far this year is down 23%, with the 336 people hit by bullets through Sunday compared to 436 victims by this time last year. Murders are also down, with 120 victims so far this year compared to 125 by this point last year.
