A state police DUI checkpoint set up overnight Friday didn’t catch any impaired drivers, troopers announced.
The checkpoint ran from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. on Route 61 at Shoemaker Avenue in Shoemakersville. A total of 93 motorists traveled through the checkpoint.
Three motorists were given field tests for suspicion of driving impaired, but none were arrested for DUI. One motorist was arrested for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. State police did not provide information about the arrest.
The checkpoint also resulted in the issuing of four citations and two warnings.
