A 55-year-old man was repeatedly stabbed in Brooklyn by a mugger angry he didn’t have any money, police said Wednesday.
The victim was confronted at about 2:30 a.m. on April 5 at Fulton St. and Van Siclen Ave. in East New York, according to cops.
The assailant asked the man for his wallet and when the victim said he had no money on him and the suspect stabbed him five times in the body.
The mugger ran off, according to the NYPD.
The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.
