A 44-year-old man died after being stabbed Monday afternoon in North Baltimore, and charges are pending against his acquaintance, according to police.
Officers responded to a report of a cutting on the 1000 block of Dartmouth Road in the Evesham Park neighborhood at about 5:20 p.m. and found the man suffering from stab wounds, Baltimore Police said in a news release. The man was taken to the Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police arrested a 22-year-old acquaintance of the man a short time later. He is being interviewed by homicide detectives, and charges are pending against him, according to the release.
Another man died in North Baltimore earlier Monday afternoon after walking into Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound, police said.
The man was suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso and was declared dead at the hospital.
Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting and are trying to determine where the man was shot.
The homicide unit was also notified after a 37-year-old walked into a hospital early Monday morning after being shot, according to police.
The man walked into the hospital at 2:51 a.m. with an apparent life-threatening gunshot wound, police said. Investigators are unsure of where the shooting took place.
Also Monday morning, police responded to a report of a shooting at 4:35 a.m. on the 3700 block of West Belvedere Avenue in Northwest Baltimore.
There, they found a vehicle that had collided with a tree. A 66-year-old man who was driving the vehicle was suffering from gunshot wounds, according to police. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
