A 67-year-old man was fatally shot at a Brooklyn intersection Saturday morning, police said.
Cops responding to a report of a man shot raced to the corner of Atlantic and Williams Aves. in East New York about 10:50 a.m., finding the victim sprawled out in the street.
The victim had been shot in the chest, cops said.
A black cane, believed to be the victim’s, was found near his body.
EMS rushed the victim to Brookdale University Hospital but he couldn’t be saved. His name was not immediately released as cops track down family members.
The gunman ran off. No arrests have been made.
Cops were scouring the area Saturday looking for clues to the gunman’s identity.
