After a vote Thursday afternoon, Davis, 50, said on the House floor that he disputes any wrongdoing.
“However, I do want to take this opportunity to apologize to this body for creating this unnecessary distraction from the important work of the House.”
Davis, R-Broken Arrow, was elected in 2018 and was unopposed in 2020 and 2022.
He pleaded no contest last September in Tulsa County District Court to driving while impaired, a misdemeanor. He also pleaded no contest to speeding and obstructing a police officer.
He was put on probation for six months and paid more than $1,700 in court assessments, fees and costs, records show.
He was charged after a 2019 traffic stop in Broken Arrow.
