The Berks County sheriff’s department is seeking the following fugitives:
Jeffrey Hoover, 22, whose last known address was in the 500 block of West Cedar Street, Palmyra, is wanted on charges of fleeing to elude a police officer, receiving stolen property, possessing instrument of a crime, simple assault and terroristic threats.
Police said that on Dec. 14, Wyomissing police pursued a vehicle believed to be stolen. The pursuit began in the 1600 block of State Hill Road, and the driver fled at a high rate of speed. Police found the vehicle abandoned minutes later and determined that Hoover was the driver. He is also wanted on charges filed by Reading police related to a May 24 assault case.
He is described as 6 feet 3 inches and 190 pounds.
Reynaldo Alberto, 21, whose last known address was in the 700 block of North 11th Street, Reading, is wanted on aggravated assault charges.
Police said Alberto failed to appear for a hearing on charges of aggravated assault. He is also accused of terroristic threats and possessing instrument of a crime in another case.
He is described as 5 feet 9 inches and 180 pounds.
