Looks like Shondaland has a crossover event in real life.
Kevin McKidd, who stars on “Grey’s Anatomy,” was spotted kissing Danielle Savre, a cast member of the “Grey’s” spinoff “Station 19.”
In photos published by People and Entertainment Tonight, McKidd and Savre smile and lock lips after a swim in Italy’s Lake Como. The duo also shared PDA while touring the town of Bellagio.
McKidd has played Dr. Owen Hunt on “Grey’s Anatomy” since the start of the ABC medical drama’s fifth season in 2008. Meanwhile, Savre has starred as firefighter Maya Bishop on “Station 19″ since the spinoff’s 2018 debut.
The two actors have collaborated on six episodes of “Grey’s” and four of “Station 19,” including one installment that McKidd directed.
McKidd and Savre’s time enjoying la dolce vita in Italy comes after McKidd’s recent breakup with his wife of nearly five years, Arielle Goldrath, with whom he shares two children — Aiden, 5, and Nava, 3. Goldrath filed for divorce in December 2022, citing irreconcilable differences, TMZ reported at the time.
“A few months ago, Arielle and I decided to end the marriage portion of our relationship,” McKidd wrote on Instagram the previous July. “We reached this conclusion after much soul searching and discussion. We know it’s what is right for both of us.”
The Scottish actor was previously married to Jane Parker from 1999 to 2017, during which time they welcomed children Joseph, now 23, and Iona, 21.
Savre, meanwhile, was previously in a relationship with Chicago Blackhawks video analyst Andrew Contis, according to the Chicago Tribune.
“Grey’s Anatomy” is responsible for at least one other romance — that of actor Kelly McCreary and her husband, director Pete Chatmon. McCreary, who played Dr. Maggie Pierce from Season 10 until her exit in Season 19, married Chatmon in May 2019 after meeting him on the “Grey’s” set, as People reported at the time.
