Beanie Feldstein and Bonnie-Chance Roberts are five years into their relationship and three weeks into their marriage. The duo revealed in a new Vogue interview that they tied the knot last month in the Hudson Valley.
Feldstein and Roberts met while filming the 2019 film “How to Build a Girl,” for which the former “Funny Girl” star played the lead character and Roberts served as producer. But their first interaction was a Skype call during the casting process. “In classic Bon fashion, she hadn’t actually introduced herself, she just launched into it all,” Feldstein, 29, told Vogue. “At the end of the call, I wrote in my notes: ‘the producer… Brooke?’”
Feldstein got the part, of course, and she and Roberts fell in love while filming the movie in London in the summer of 2018. “From the moment we first kissed, we both knew we would get married and months after that, Bon had announced that when the time came, she wanted to be the one to propose to me,” Feldstein said.
The couple went long-distance for 13 months because of the pandemic. After they reunited, Roberts proposed to Feldstein in the backyard of the “Booksmart” actor’s childhood home.
And last month, the couple tied the knot at Cedar Lakes Estate in Port Jervis, enlisting an all-woman team as vendors.
Guests at the May 20 ceremony included Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo, Ben Platt, and Kaitlyn Dever, according to People.
As the couple read their vows under a canopy of trees at Cedar Lakes, they were enveloped by fog that had rolled in. “It made it feel like truly there was nothing else in the world except for all of us there beneath the trees,” Feldstein told Vogue. “It was genuinely the most magical, awe-inspiring moment of our lives.”
