An El Paso mother and her four children who went missing under suspicious circumstances weeks ago are the focus of an Amber Alert issued on Saturday, police officials said.
Jennifer Lee-Hope Carmony, 42, is considered a “person of interest” in the possible abduction of her four children, ages 4 to 16 years old, police officials said.
The missing children are 16-year-old Aidan Bennett Williams, 14-year-old Isabella Valora Williams, 12-year-old Audrit Uriel Williams and 4-year-old Michael Norbit Carmony.

Law enforcement officials believe that the children could be in danger.
An investigation began about 1 p.m. Friday when police were dispatched to do a welfare check on the family, which had not been seen for about two weeks, in the 5300 block of Woodrow Bean Trans Mountain Road.
The exact location was not disclosed by police officials; but, there are two apartment complexes on that block, located in the Rushfair area of the Northeast El Paso.
Detectives with the Crimes Against Persons Unit “believe the circumstances surrounding the missing persons is suspicious in nature,” a police news release stated.
The last time Carmony was heard from was on May 8, police said. She was last seen driving a Ford F150 that was originally red but had been spray-painted black. It possibly has Texas license plate of BE88718.
The Amber Alert for the missing Northeast family was issued early Saturday. The alert is being shown on Texas Department of Transportation digital highway signs.
Jennifer Carmony is 5 feet 5 inches tall, 150 pounds with blue eyes and blonde hair, authorities said.
