General Hospital” actress Haley Pullos has been charged with DUI following a frightening car crash in Southern California, according to a report.
Pullos, 24, was involved in a wreck on April 29 on a highway in Pasadena, TMZ reported. The soap opera star was driving on the 134 freeway when she swerved, jumped a dividing barrier and began traveling the wrong way toward oncoming traffic, according to a police report obtained by the outlet.
She collided head-on with a car going about 60 mph, and first responders shared shocking photos from the scene that showed both cars totaled.
Pasadena firefighters pried Pullos from her vehicle, TMZ reported. Officers searched it and found marijuana edibles and mini-bottles of tequila.
Investigators said Pullos was slurring her speech and that her breath smelled like alcohol. According to the police report, she fought first responders, telling one firefighter, “This is a $400 f—ing shirt!” and getting physical with hospital staff to the point that she was sedated.
The other driver was hospitalized with significant injuries, according to TMZ.
Earlier this month, Pullos told Soap Opera Digest she’d be missing a few episodes of “General Hospital” because of a car crash, but she left out the less-than-flattering details.
“Unfortunately, I was involved in an automobile accident and I’m doing okay, but I am going to need a little time to recover,” she said. “I will be back as soon as possible!”
Pullos stars on “General Hospital” as Molly Lansing-Davis, a role she first took on in 2009.
