“The Bear” star Jeremy Allen White and his wife, Addison Timlin, are going their separate ways. Timlin, who’s been married to White since 2019, has filed for divorce in Los Angeles.
According to court records cited by TMZ, Timlin filed divorce paperwork on Thursday, though the reason for the split is not yet known.
White and Timlin met when they co-starred in the 2008 film “Afterschool,” TMZ adds. They welcomed their first child, Ezer, in October 2018, and they tied the knot one year later. Their second child, daughter Dolores, was born in December 2020.
In a 2013 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Timlin said that she and her “sweetheart” — whom she didn’t disclose at the time — were “friends for a long period of time, and then it took a hard right turn into romance.”
In an Instagram post in 2020, Timlin wrote, “I married my best friend of 15 years, who happens to be the love of my life.”
White has also waxed romantic about Timlin. He sang her praises when he won a Golden Globe Award for his role in “The Bear,” the FX comedy-drama in which he stars as NYC chef Carmy Berzatto.
“Addison Timlin, I love you deep in my bones,” White said during his acceptance speech. “Thank you for all you do. Thank you for everything you’ve done. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
White’s other credits include a long-running role on the Showtime comedy “Shameless” and a recurring part on the Prime Video drama “Homecoming.”
As for her acting career, Timlin had a starring role in the 2016 Crackle crime drama “StartUp.” She also had a recurring role on the Showtime comedy “Californication” in 2011 and a supporting role in the ABC drama “Zero Hour” in 2013. Last year, she guest-starred in an episode of FX’s “American Horror Stories.”
