The royal family reunion within the British monarchy apparently has already happened.
Well, on wax that is.
Prince Harry’s wax figure has been reunited with likenesses of the royal clan at Madame Tussauds London ahead of the May 6 coronation of King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla at Westminster Abbey.
Harry’s statue, seen in a black-and-white suit with a bowtie, was previously displayed alongside his wife Meghan Markle’s in the Awards Party Zone since 2020, after the couple stepped down from royal duties and hightailed it to California.
He’s now holding royal court with his father, his stepmother, his brother William and his sister-in-law Kate in the Royal Palace section. Other royals on display include Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh.
“From today, Prince Harry has officially re-joined The Royal Palace experience at our attraction,” Madame Tussauds London general manager Tim Waters said. “It’s a pleasure to welcome Prince Harry’s wax figure back to the Royal Palace experience at Madame Tussauds London for this historic event.”
The Duke of Sussex waxwork is seen smiling standing next to the newly dressed figures of Great Britain’s new king and queen.
Prince Harry is expected to arrive at his father’s crowning as a solo act — his wife and children will remain in the United States for an intimate birthday gathering for Prince Archie.
That could explain why the cheeky folks at Madame Tussauds London decided to leave the Duchess of Sussex’s likeness right where it stood.
The former “Suits” star can now be seen solo along with the likes of celebrities such as David and Victoria Beckham, Leonardo DiCaprio, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Zendaya and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Waters explained: “The temporary move reflects the Duke of Sussex’s participation in the coronation and ensures guests will be able to get up close to all members of the royal family attending this once-in-a-lifetime event.”
The runaway royal’s wax figure is set to return to the Awards Party Zone following the end of the coronation celebrations.
