Actor Jonathan Majors was busted in Manhattan on Saturday on a charge of assault police described as a domestic dispute.
Majors, 33, was arrested at about 11:15 a.m. Saturday at an apartment near W. 22nd St. and Eighth Ave. in Chelsea, said police.
“The victim informed police she was assaulted,” said a police department statement. “Officers placed the 33-year-old male [Majors] into custody without incident.
“The victim sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was removed to an area hospital in stable condition.”
Majors is charged with strangulation, assault and harassment, police said.
Majors plays the villain in “Creed III,” and also starred in the recent movie, “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” based on the Marvel comics series.
A spokesperson for Majors denied the allegations telling TMZ, “He’s done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up.”
